Classroom News
Morning Work: students enter and take care of "their needs". Then, they begin morning work at their seats until announcements/attendance has been taken.
Calendar: students identify date, number of the day--complete several activities with the number of the day. (For example...spell the number, draw the number, add ten to the number, etc.)
WIN Time: students work independently, or in small groups on Daily 5 tasks.
Math: students complete math lesson of the day/if time, work in math stations with a partner.
Specials: students rotate to one special per day...Music, Art, Gym, STEAM
Science/Social Studies: students participate in the science/social studies lesson of the day.
Recess/Lunch
Language: students write in journals daily, and complete the language lesson of the day.
2nd Recess
Lang, cont.
"Treasure" Student/Clean up: helpers complete end of the day jobs, while student of the week shares their item of the day.
